Middle Path
From IKTWiki
Middle Path is one of the Four Books (四書) of Confucian scriptures
According to a historian named Shi Ma Chan (司馬遷), Middle Path (中庸) was written by Confucius’ grandson Tzu Su (子思). Middle path consisted of fundamental philosophy of Tao, which was the core value and concept of Confucianism. Middle Path was later re-organized into 33 chapters by a person named Zu Xi (朱熹). The doctrine emphasized on virtue and morality; however, the doctrine had a pattern around Tao.
Take note that Tao originated from the mandate of Heaven and a person should not deviate from Tao; therefore, the cultivation of Tao is continuous through learning process of our daily life.
