Fortune Udon

A quick, simple, yet delicious, vegetarian fortune Udon for your busy lifestyle.

Serves 1



Ingredients: Instant Japanese fresh noodles (1 bag Udon), fresh Tofu Skin, mushroom, 1/2 carrots, 1/2 romaine heart (or any green vegetables).

Sauce: salt, soy sauce, sugar, strained tomatoes, and optional crushed red pepper (or any hot spices).


Steps:

[1] Pan-fry or deep fry the fresh tofu skin, and then pan-fry the thin strips of mushroom.


[2] Cut carrots into round thin pieces, and cut romaine heart into medium strips. Pour them into boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Drain well and set aside.

[3] Pour noodles into 450 cc boiling water. Stir and boil for 3 minutes. Add in the sauce.

[4] Serve Udon with vegetables, fried tofu skin and mushroom, and your favorite sauce.
